What Is Neurotoxin?

Why We Use Xeomin Instead of Botox?
A "naked" formulation
Xeomin is often called the "naked" neurotoxin because it contains only the purified botulinum toxin molecule, without the accessory (complexing) proteins that surround the toxin in some other formulations
A meaningfully lower protein load
Xeomin contains no accessory proteins, resulting in a lower protein load per treatment. Research suggests this may reduce the risk of developing antibodies that can make future treatments less effective, though studies are ongoing. This is one reason we favor Xeomin for long-term use.

How long do results last?
Results are temporary and generally last three to four months before muscle activity gradually returns, at which point a follow-up session maintains the effect.
How soon can I repeat treatment?
Most clients return every few months as results fade. Your provider can recommend a maintenance schedule based on how your muscles respond.
Does Xeomin work as well as Botox?
Yes. Clinical studies show comparable effectiveness, onset, and duration between the two, and they're dosed on a similar unit-for-unit basis. Choosing Xeomin is about formulation, not a different outcome.
What to Expect
Your provider assesses your facial muscle movement and discusses your goals before treatment. The injections themselves take about 15–20 minutes. Minor swelling or redness at injection sites is common and usually resolves within a few hours; full results typically develop over the days following treatment.
